2013: a year in theatrical poetry!
This year I will be Poet in Residence at the New Diorama Theatre - a brilliant little powerhouse of exciting new ensemble theatre in central London.
Fiesco
The city wages war,
flooding the streets
with royal purple, bloody red.
Blood Wedding
Onto this parched, dry earth
falls bitter blood of grief,
tears and sweat of longing.
Simple things are all:
chairs and yellow lamps, love and
the dream of Moscow.
Fiesco, Blood Wedding and Three Sisters play in rep
at the New Diorama until 23 February.

This year I will be Poet in Residence at the New Diorama Theatre - a brilliant little powerhouse of exciting new ensemble theatre in central London.
I will be writing a tiny poem for every show at the theatre - starting with The Faction Rep Season: a triple bill of stripped-back, reinterpreted classics presented by the theatre's associate company.
They will be collected on the New Diorama website, and will create a year of theatre in poetry (just as soon as the new website is up and running!). In the meantime, you can find them here and on twitter..!
